Outbound Calls & Call Lists

Place AI-driven outbound calls one at a time or in batches with call lists and campaigns.

Outbound calls use the same agent model as inbound, plus call-specific task context. Use them for structured follow-ups, reminders, and operational outreach.

Placing a single outbound call

From Outbound, pick an outbound agent, enter the destination number, and provide task context — the specifics the agent needs for this call (e.g. "Confirm tomorrow's 10am appointment; offer to reschedule if needed"). The agent interpolates that context into its instructions, places the call, works the task, and reports a structured outcome.

Task context

Task context is what makes one generic outbound agent reusable across many calls. The agent's instructions can reference context variables, so "appointment reminder" stays one agent even though every call has a different name, time, and reason.

Call lists

Call Lists batch outbound work: upload or build a list of recipients, attach the outbound agent, and HUM works through the list automatically, respecting business hours. Each row tracks its own status and outcome so you can see exactly who was reached, who needs a retry, and what each call produced.

Reviewing outcomes

Outbound calls land in the same Calls list with transcripts, summaries, and structured outcome data. Filter by direction to focus on outbound performance, or open the originating call list to see per-recipient results.

Agent-initiated calls

Human agents using the Agent Console can also dial out directly — those calls are attributed to the person who placed them and reviewed the same way.
